If Georgia should lose tonight, there is no way they should get a top 4 seed if the win SEC title.

They're certainly not calling holding against the Bulldogs.

Just stop. UGA nailed with a phantom pass interference call.

Not referring to the PI call

I agree that the PI call wasn't a good one.

Throughout the Q4, there were jerseys being pulled right in front of the officials, and pass rushers being bent at odd angles that simply don't occur without holding. No calls.

Unfortunately, you're probably right that the Bulldogs will get a LOT of hype out of this "amazing" 8 OT win.

Reward conference champs. If a conference is going to have 16 or 18 teams - this is what they deserve. Keep chasing the money Big10, SEC, Big12. Ha!!!

I’m fine with no playoffs, and a return to New Year’s Day bowl games.

If it goes that way, the whole setup should be re-examined

It’s simple. No 3 loss conference champ gets a bye. Period

So damn stupid

There is no precedent. The committee could fix this if it wants.

Just throw out the conference champs and go straight rankings. If they don’t and GA manages to win the NC, it’s a farse.

Texas A&M beats Texas and a 3 loss SEC team gets a Top 4 bye in the CFP…

What a joke

Were you expecting something different???

If Georgia loses tonight they'll almost certainly drop down below Bama and Ol Miss, in the 13-15 range. A&M is already down at #20 but would likely move up to 13-15 range with win over Texas.

This means it's very possible that the SEC winner could be ranked behind: B1G, ACC, Mountains West, and Big 12 Champs...so they'd be IN playoff but wouldn't get a bye or a home game.

They'd be traveling to either Tosu, Oregon, Penn State, or Notre Dame in the first round.

Of course we have to see if GA Tech even holds on here.

Is this what the SEC and Big10 had in mind with this system? Yr. 1 - already laughable.
