ND has hired inexperienced guys before with no Head Coach resume and none of it worked out. We all questioned it at the time. Not MF's work ethiic or personality but his inexperience being a HC and how that will work out at ND. Nobody was 100% on board at the time. Most continued to question as the inexcusable losses came and went. But he continued to move forward, learning as he went along. I think if you talk to Irish fans leaving the stadium after NIU, the feeling about MF and Jack would be much different than this morning. We can't rewrite history but we can appreciate that we may have underestimated MF as a man and as a HC. We also should take a deep dive into what Al Golden's influence and experience has meant to MF and our program.

I've always seen Swarbrick as a mixed bag, but I think the bag filled with more good than bad after today.
He didn't fire Kelly in 2016, but he did make him hire good coordinators back then , and then he hired Marcus Freeman in 2022, who is now clearly a successful hire which negates that earlier mistake.
I call it like I see it. Haters gonna hate.
Both utter dismissive clowns.
Thank the Lord they are both gone.
