Remember when some were actually worrying because Marcus couldn’t win more than five in a row?

I do.

Will those clowns apologize?

As far as I am concerned ND only made one bad call today. The play on 3rd and 7 before the missed

Don't know if you're referring to me our not, but when a HC needs to win 10 straight to make the playoffs and the most he had ever done before is 5, I think that's fair to point out when considering how daunting of a task it was.

I'm ecstatic that he did it, he's got the 2nd longest win streak in FBS behind only Oregon...give the man his flowers, give the man his extension.

Might want to hold off on the gloating until the wins come when it counts.

I have no idea whom you're referencing. I never made such a claim. I would hope his teams could string together five straight against this kind of schedule. Is the bar that low?

Uh, when you're in a can't lose situation they all count

So they've counted for the last 10 wins and now the pressure is leveled out because every team in the playoffs is in the same boat, win or go home.

Food for Thought..at the end of the 2012 regular season, Brian Kelly had raised his win % at Notre Dame to .737 (prior to NCG loss). It took him the next nine years to raise his win % up to .739 after five straight 10+ win seasons and just before bolting for LSU.

Every HC who has won a NC at Notre Dame had a winning percentage higher than .760 while at Notre Dame. Marcus Freeman currently has a winning percentage of .769 at Notre Dame, so it might be time for you to give the man his due.

I hope I’m right. We haven’t really played anyone but we look real good at this point. I’m excited to see us play a real opponent. Please stop with telling us all how tough a 6-6 team is. None of the teams on our schedule are ranked except for mighty Army.

The playing field is more level than it’s ever been before as well. If we’re going to win an NC for the first time in 37 years this could be the year.

Today counted big time. It was a playoff game for all intents and purposes.

by 1 point at home. Every team experiences about 2 to 3 bad games a year but we experienced maybe 2, unfortunately one was against a team that didn't belong on the same field as us. It is remarkable to win 10 in a row after that devastating loss. That to me proves something about our coaching staff and players guts wise and motivation wise.

That would be most of Irish Nation. They were reacting to Marshall, OSU, Stanford, NIU.

Some were over reactions. Some were tempered. Some were justified. No apologies needed.
