New screen pass sets, they are somehow giving it away.

Presents itself.

Don’t start pass happy, if that doesn’t work u r screwed.

Make it like a navy game. Control the ball and the clock , limit possessions and play physical, aggressive and sound defense

Defense

Stop the run
Keep things in front. Limit big plays.
If giving some cushion periodically, you have to tackle.
Tighten up in spots, specifically closer to red zone.
Make them make long drives without mistakes. Find a few negative plays along the way.
Get at least 1 turnover.

Offense

Be patient with the run. Love needs 12+ touches.
QB powers.
More zone read
When safeties are entering the box, you have to take some shots. Especially against their CB who has a PI/Holding issue.
Have to take some chances on 4th down.
Zero turnovers.
If you don’t have to be in a hurry, take your time.

Special Teams

No mistakes
Make every kick.
+1 on positive plays in the return game. Long return, block, pinning them back, etc.

Defense - man coverage, force runs lateral, pressure Howard. Offense - run the ball relentlessly.

If we're a TD or less going into the 4th, we win.

They need to get to Howard and stop the run, with little help.

ND needs to take away the deep and intermediate routes, and make OSU string together many passes underneath against our LBers and nickel.

If that happens, ND will be in it.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Deferring to the second half played a huge role vs. GA and PSU

Love as the lead blocker for Leonard was an interesting repeat play. Wondering what that sets up.

Man, I had forgotten about the list. "don't flinch" (Holtz) and "fight, just fight." (MF).
