I'm gonna take the high road on this recent CA hire.

If, in fact, Mickens is staying (which I'm loving), and the fact that he may be Co-DC with Ash, perhaps the two together will be stronger / more effective than they would be individually. Perhaps one's weaknesses are the other one's strengths. Yes, I'm guardedly optimistic toward the Ash hire still. What I tend to like about Ash's many stops, both college and NFL, is that he has seen and learned a lot of different looks and techniques from different coaches. Hoping he can apply the best of the best and learn even more from Mickens. Or, I could be fulla shite and he'll bomb worse than VanGopher.
