B+/A- offensive lineman. I hope he makes plenty of $$$ there. He's earned it.

guaranteed a starting spot next year. He's shown nothing but loyalty to ND and needs to go somewhere where he can start and, hopefully, get a lot of NIL.

Thread Level: 4

Exactly. Good on him.

This way, he's not playing for Michigan, which was pulling out a lot of stops to try to get both him and Coogan.

He was much improved in 2024 compared to 2023, and once he got back in the lineup, the right side of the line was absolutely solid.

I really had hoped he would stay for 2025, but at least this way, he has his ND degree, and leaves with his head held high.

mid to late 80's. The game with ND in 1988 was a street fight. The crowd in Pittsburgh was 50-50, several fights in the stands, lots of cursing back and forth. ND won a close one the week before the Miami game!

Thread Level: 3

Exactly. Crazy game. Next week was the best though.

......with only a few minutes left in the game, ND up by a few pts. Dickerson had Pitt driving for the go ahead TD, goes back to pass, tucks it under to run in for the score and the ball slips out of his hand, ND recovers to stay undefeated.

I remember that ND chewed up a good portion of the 4th quarter with a TD drive to go up 10 pts. Then, Arnold Ale essentially sealed the win with an interception in the final minutes. It was a tight game, for sure. The play you referenced was one of the most bizarre I've seen as the Pitt QB had a clear opening to the end zone and just dropped the ball. Other than that though, the other Pitt turnovers were clearly forced by ND defense.
