who did a good job for them, to help improve our talent level?
Is there some correlation between the Lions needing to be good for Notre Dame to be good? ..or are you saying we can only make hires from the SB Champs? ..what's your angle here?

My cousin played for ND, spent 2 years in the NFL. The Washington (Redskins at the time) were the
only team to offer him a chance to come back after a severe injury. As a result our family has an affection for them. When the Washington Commanders beat Detroit I posted "Hail TO The Redskins." The post was greeted with all kinds of insults and slurs. I was able to see what kind of losers Detroit fans are just like their team!-

I dislike many of the Lions fans as they are actually UM fans. I still like the Lions- but its NFL
BaronVonZemo 64185 postsWith the Lions defensive injuries, I knew that they would get carved up by a top flight QB by the end of the year with the 4th and 5th string DB's out there - and they did: first by Josh Allen, then by Jaden Daniels, and had they faced Jalen Hurts or especially Patrick mahomes - they would have been eaten alive.
The Lions do have the best offense in football, and a good but not great defense when healthy. They are not SB worthy yet imo. Congrats to your Commanders - they have a bright future.
But don't be so biased as to not see the great job this talent evaluator did in Detroit. He will be a great addition to ND's staff.

What they do with the talent is on the team, but the talent that they have established through the draft in the past 4 years has been as good or better than anyone else.
