Eight ND players invited to NFL Combine

Leonard, Collins, and Evans on the offensive side.

Cross, Mills, Kiser, Morrison, and Watts on the defensive side.

The other schools with the most invites:

Ohio State - 15
Texas - 14
Georgia - 14
Oregon - 12
South Carolina - 11
Miami - 10
Alabama - 9
Notre Dame - 8
Michigan - 8
LSU - 8

Not having all of the invitees others ahead of us have isn't necessarily a bad thing, since we have a lot of quality talent (especially starters) coming back for this season, especially at the linebacker position.

I was a bit surprised at tOSU, though. Out of their 15 players invited, only three of them were transfer portal guys (although they were very high impact players).

I’m surprised to see Leonard on this list and to see him forecast as a mid-round pick

the team for whoever drafts him and will be developed to be be able to contribute and even lead his team. He has size, athleticism and is a far better passer than given credit for. Brock Purdy has turned out pretty well in the San Fran system and the same could happen to Riley.

Jordan Clark, S, IMO should have been invited and WILL make an NFL Roster

I agree. They must think that he is too small. He is absolutely an NFL talent.
