It is nonsense.
Any change to the playoff format requires unanimous agreement amongst the 10 FBS commissioners.....AND NOTRE DAME!
We're not going to agree to any format that forces our hand to join a conference or makes it more difficult for us to make the playoffs.
End of story.

The SEC and B1G will freeze everyone out in the next Playoff Negotiations and dominate the format
The question for ND is whether it makes more sense to wait until that happens to move or not. The SEC is not a logical landing spot, so it'll be the B1G.

My 95-year-old great aunt with dementia could accurately predict that.
A random website saying it has an "impeccable" source has a least a 50% chance of being right since once the music stops, there will be only two places to go. And the most logical place for ND to go would be the BIG 10.
From reading the other posts on this site indicates this is nothing but a rumor mongering site with another unknown author.
