Based on what I've read re: practices
Carr and Minchey have much higher ceilings while Angeli may just be the competent high floor, low ceiling type of guy
Some opinions are that Angeli isn't likely to win championships for us and Carr/Minchey make it more possible. Angeli has likely peaked out while the other two haven't.
The portal is open April 16 - 25.
Either Angeli or Minchey will likely enter it.
I can't see all three on the fall roster, although that would be nice.

of the three, angeli has the best chance of transferring and starting. the other two are
young with no real game snaps. if it’s Carr or Minchey this fall, the other probably transfers at the end of the season.
I like all three. I think we are in good shape with any of them.
So nice to have a real QB competition amongst three quality options.
I'll leave the rest to the coaching staff to make the best decision.

What does "screwing up" look like? Steve cannot have fans and coaches looking over his shoulder.
Either he's the starter or not. Lots of leadway given to Riley and ian back in the day before things started to click. I'm hoping fans remember that if and when Steve is the starter and has a bad play or bad game. I think fans project what they would like to see happen. I believe MF and staff already know who the starter will be.and as usual, one bad play against the Canes, fans will be all over the message boards demanding CJ get his shot. We fans are good like that.
"Steve" is a Jersey Boy. His Dad will be with our group at CJ's after the game on Saturday. You and
all here are welcome to come in and meet him. By "screwing up" I mean it would take a really terrible performance for Carr to unseat him.
I stopped attending Spring games a couple of yrs ago. That was after a good 40+ yr run.
