Had to re-check the math, and yes indeed, he has 2 seasons left

2020 - COVID exemption
2021 - Played in only 2 games, counts as a true redshirt year
2022 - Full season at ND
2023 - Medical redshirt year at ASU, due to the worst offensive line
2024 - Full season at Missouri

5 years played, 3 redshirt years granted.

So, he'll have 2025 and 2026 to play at BGSU, assuming he sticks around. The funny thing here, is that he's going to be about the same age Chris Weinke was, although Weinke delayed his football career to play baseball.

BGSU was a moderately good team last year, almost knocking off Texas A&M and Penn State. They do finally lose Connor Bazelak (another Missouri transfer QB) after his six years, and the supposed heir-apparent, Justin Lamson, has transferred to Montana State long before this. I suspect he didn't want to play for Eddie George, and Loeffler's departure made it a no-brainer.

I don't see Lucian Anderson beating him out unless Anderson has some serious developmental surge this spring.

Anderson is a much better athlete, 6' 3", and fast of foot, but his throwing accuracy is questionable at best.

Unless he learns to use the entire width of the field, I remain skeptical

Either that, or Eddie George had better call "flood right" pass plays every time they need to pass. He's not going to have the superstar TE security blanket to bail him out.

Their superstar TE, Harold Fannin Jr., declared for the draft. The man snagged 117 receptions for 1555 yards last year.

He's always been easily swayed, but they made such a good pitch that he thought he'd stick w/ it.

I'm guessing that no one outside of the Lumber Belt or a builder is going to get this joke.
