TLDR: Jerome Bettis told Danny Kanell that Minchey is doing well in practice

Interesting tidbit but long way to go. I am not surprised that Minchey is looking good.

Bettis, Bryant Young, and Brian Urlacher.

They all have kids on the team.

What a player told his dad who told Danny has zero weight on who will be the starting QB. That is basically message board gossip spread by a supposed credible college football analyst. Whoever MF and his offensive staff choose as the starter for Miami is fine by me.

One name to remember here: Junior Jabbe

5 touchdowns in the '95 Spring Game. 4 catches for 72 yards in the subsequent fall. I still can't fathom it - we had nothing else at receiver after Mayes. The next leading receiver that season was the freaking fullback.

Imagine his potential if he played during COVID with NIL! Timing is everything.
