Worth keeping an eye on. 6’3” and 185, so needs to put on some weight. And I think that’s part of the reason he was a 3 rather than 4 star.
Carr’s HS coach is firmly convinced he has and has had the ND QB job locked up. But I don’t anticipate he’d say otherwise regardless.
I agree, that the younger Carr simply needs a bit more time to develop physically. He has the same kind of football IQ that his big brother has.
Even though he committed to Miami of Ohio, I suspect that his offer list is going to grow as he plays out his senior year and packs on some quality pounds.

None had to change a play under the deafening noise of same hostile crowd. What you basically saw today was pitch and catch knowing no one from the defense was going to drill you into the ground. No one had to execute a 2 minute drive from their own 10 today under duress. . We fall into this same trap every Spring Game. If CJ , Kenny, or Steve are named the starter, it's because MF and his staff feel that player has earned it and not because the staff had preconceived notions about who the starter should be. This Spring Game is just a drip in a swimming pool of info MF has collected on these three. Stay tuned. It might not be who you think or it may be who you think. I think MF already knows.
I think practice effort and performance as well as leadership skills are probably quite influential.
And the one thing PBAJ has that the others don’t is game and playoff experience.
His immobility will be his downfall.
