I think if they re-did this list, Love's TD run in the OB would have to be top 3, maybe top 2. Tough to beat Brooks' run vs Michigan.

I'd like to know why Robert Hughes TD run vs USC in 2010 that sealed the W & ended the losing streak vs USC wasn't included on this list.

No Eric Pennick's 85 yard run against SC in 1973 to lead ND to a Natty? It was the first time in a decade that I did not see a ND back get caught from behimd by SC. I will never forget that one....

Pound for pound, Reggie Brooks' strength was flat-out incredible

The guys on the team would swear on the family honor, that Brooks had a legitimate 400 lb bench press, despite his being only 5' 8" and 200 lbs.

Plus his speed was incredible. I will never forget how he split the USC defenders in the game he was

In 1993, Bettis, Brooks, Mirer were 1-2-3 in R.O.Y. votes.

We all fondly remember 1992 as a very strong team. That said, it's still a mystery to me how we weren't a little better. I can forgive the Michigan tie - they went unbeaten with 3 ties and beat Washington in the Rose Bowl (pretty loaded roster, too). The Stanford loss continues to boggle the mind, regardless of the turnovers. But the squeaking past Penn State (5 losses) and U.S.C. (who had a 1st Down at our 5 with 1 timeout and 25 seconds left) are bewildering, too.

And maybe the 2 yard run vs PSU. That was unbelievable

Tony rice run against USC in the colosseum was an all time classic too.
