Florida St. just made the same mistake that Marcus made against UNC.

They were cruising with a 14-0 lead against Louisville in the 2nd Q.

Then, on 4th and goal at the Louisville 3, Norvell got greedy and tried to score and failed.

So, instead of kicking a FG and having a 17-0, 3 possesion lead, he had a 2 possession, 14-0 lead.

What does Louisville do? They spring their star RB, Isaac Brown, on a 97 yard scamper for a TD, on the first play from scrimmage, which closes the score to 14-7.

In the blink of an eye, a possible 3 possession FSU lead was shaved to a 1 possession lead.

The momentum of the game was turned upside down. Louisville's energy surged. They stopped FSU and just went down to score and tie the game at 14-14.

Moral of the story: take the damn FG next time!

True, they should have taken the 3 scores lead...

...but I doubt it would have changed the result.

Louisville ripped off 35 unanswered points after that, thanks to FSU's not so stellar defense.

Even though going into this game, FSU had the #55 defense, that was rather skewed from facing several weak teams (New Mexico State, Central Arkansas, and Virginia). Against the better teams, their defense stunk up the field.

And now Louisville just scored again, 41-20.

Ashton Daniels looks rattled after getting hit several times.

FSU has a stud RB that gets 5 yards every time he touches the ball so of course, they decide to pass the ball on 4th & goal at the 1 instead of just handing it off to him for an easy TD to go up 21-0.
