I don't care about starting.
He should receive a bulk of the carries in every remaining game.
He is the only RB who can break it ala Price/Love. He also gets positive yards when nothing is there. James can too, but he's slow.
Williams is the 3rd down back, period.
Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

I agree with this. And I'll bet my mortgage that, if asked if he will start vs BYU, JW will
say something akin to "that's up to the coaches. I'll just be ready whenever."

Walton did not start Saturday, and he said watching first helped him.
“Absolutely. Yeah, it helps. It helps me see how the defense is playing, the running backs,” Walton said. “It doesn’t matter who starts. It matters just what you do when you get into the game, and I love learning from those guys and how they play and how I can play when I get into the game.”
