    Does he hit the portal?

His paycheck is about to take a severe hit.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
    Invincibility with no vulnerability

He'll have to find a run-heavy, option team

Right now, no school that requires that a QB be at least reasonably proficient at reading receiver progressions and throwing with good timing will want him.

He simply can't make those throws.

If my guess is correct, he may be taking a long hard look at West Virginia, where Rich Rodriguez continues to run the power spread-option offense that doesn't demand the above.

Coaches agree, CJ's brother starting the 2nd half for UM.

      Tommy Carr time.

      Michigan takes the lead instantly.

Although I hate to say it, because it's Michigan, kid looks like a huge improvement

        over Underwood.

His teammates definitely seem to respond to him better.

He can actually make receiver progressions and throw a well-timed ball

Tommy Carr resembles his big brother, although he doesn't have nearly the same arm strength. He has good accuracy, very good timing, and knows how to read receiver progressions.

The lack of arm strength is what kept a lot of the bigger programs from offering him.

Still, for the collegiate game, his arm strength is good enough, and he's actually decently mobile.

Michigan making this switch is similar to how we switched from Brandon Wimbush to Ian Book back in 2018.

Underwood is the far superior athlete, for sure, and has a much more powerful arm. Unfortunately, the grey and white matter between his ears doesn't seem suitable for the job.

I'm somewhat surprised at this, since Kyle Whittingham's offense is a power-running spread offense that doesn't demand much of the QB. All he has to do is be able to read WR1 and WR2, maybe WR3, and if nobody is open, then take off running.
