Nah, BYU was a wake up call. ND's play calling will be less conservative. At least for that game.
Then they'll revert to Tressel Ball in a later game and lose another big one.

False. It sucks to lose but we sure didn't help ourselves. I believe every team, over the
course of a long season, will have a game or two where the usual mojo just isn't there, and it's not always explainable. Is it the coaches? Players? Both? Neither? I'll tell you one thing though, if Denbrock plays conservatively, we will get punked. We need a couple of new-ish wrinkles, like throwing to the tight ends over the middle.

And Freeman's teams always do it once or twice a year. Just happened later this time.

Our TE's are not good. But throwing to a HB or
slot WR on a slant with a rub would work. Or a delayed release after a chip block. Anything but running the fade 99% of the time or the wildcat.

Toney, through the gaping hole in the middle of Ash's "zone" / confusion scheme, is going to be a tough night.
I hope I'm wrong, but we couldn't even solve for UNC's TE. I think Toney will be a much harder solve.
