True or false, freeman has lousy coordinators because he doesn’t know any better?

Or demand better?

He has no influence in anything it would seem other than wanting a line driven team which we don’t have.

In game he seems useless and I wonder how much of an influence he has during the week.

Figurehead is starting to be a thought of mine. Condoning not playing top talent vs some bullshit reason is a real thing

Two crucial plays highlight the incompetency of our coordinators.

    1. 3rd and goal for BYU late in the game:
Ash "brings the house" on a blitz, but leaves the center area behind them wide open. Of course, BYU runs a quick slant into that vacated area for the game-winning TD. O'Brien was off to the side, but the receiver had inside position and a distinct advantage.

    Nobody home!

Why was not even one safety left in that vacated area?

    2. Last play of the game. What will Denbrock dial up? Of course, the fade. It hadn't worked all game, it has such a small percentage of success, especially with a smaller receiver like Greathouse, and it is such a long throw in tight quarters; but, no, that's what he foolishly decided. Did we all not see Faison in the slot, with an opening for a quick slant into the end zone?

If we had been given the one second left on the clock, and had one more play, does anyone have confidence in the play that Denbrock would have called?

Is it in any way possible that he would have called another fade?

    Yes!

We have no way of knowing any of this
