Fumbled spike
It sure did not look like an immediate recovery. The ball was just sitting there not even moving and it was 3 or 4 seconds later it looks like.

Damn near pulled my hair out when it was under review and no one was mentioning
the whistle blowing, on the broadcast or by the officials reviewing the play. Unreal.
