Pray for weather like in the 2010 Sun Bowl.
Played under freezing conditions... the Canes took the field in Polar-like turtlenecks and looked frozen the whole game, which the Irish won 33-17.

I'd say we need to be fairly dominant to overcome any refereeing hijinx. The ref issue really is an
ongoing problem.

It took BYU everything they had to beat ND .
BYU had the home crowd, the altitude, the B12 officials. 59:59, horrendous coaching from MF and his staff, and even worse production from the Irish players to earn that W. I'm not as sold on BYU as most everybody else is. It's nothing personal. It's business.

Possibly. Miami has had a couple of close calls: Wake and FSU come to mind.
Lots of talent, but a typical Miami team in that they are undisciplined at times.
But they also have some serious offensive firepower at QB, receiver, and TE.

If you stop Toney, theyre not great. Plenty of film I'm sure they'll totally ignore on how to play
Miami and prefer a heavy dose of passive Cover 2 shell. Keep everything in front of you. Let them catch the ball then tackle. Contain the QB, no pressure. And on O we will force the quick out and run into a 9 man box until they cant take it anymore.

I think the Miami O Line is a weak link. (I think, our D-Line may win this LOS)
Malichi tony is special. Their QB is outstanding (MUST pressure him, DO not give him time)
they have at least 1 big RB that is also Very good IMO.
Their D-line is also very good, IMO.
however, they are beatable. They are not elite. Look at some of their scores.
NIL has brought parity to 15+ teams. Best CFB ever, IMO.

That game only hurts ND because it subtracts from strength-of-schedule burdened by weak ACC games.
