Re: This guy basically says how I feel. No idea if he is reasonable but he is spot on

I mean….dude isn’t wrong. Stop with all the crap outside of football and focus on what you’re now PAID to do (and that means coaches and players).

This guy is loud mouthed and full of it. Any team can have a bad day which we did and

no excuses for that. No team goes through a season playing top notch all the time. You need to be both good and lucky. We were not good that night but neither were we lucky. Remember as I have pointed out before, Saban had seven titles but only two of his teams went undefeated. I guarantee we will come back strong because if Marcus has proven anything, it's his ability to bring teams back. Lou Holtz said the time for fans to believe is when things aren't going perfectly. We still have all of our goals avaliable to us and I am confident we can pull it off. I am pissed also but we could have won without our own miscues if we had gotten a break here or there. The end of the game was ridiculous but also consider the fumble at the end of the first half. Apparently one of the BYU players yelled hut which of course is considered a penalty if used to throw off our cadence. Obviously our center snapped the ball prior to Carr expecting the snap and was the reason for the bobble which turned out disastrous for us. I am tired of hereing they wanted it more than us which is so cliche. We never gave up though we didn't play well or some decisions were questionable. I remember in national championship years we lost games to way inferior teams such as 1977 when we were beaten by a thirty point underdog. The character of guys we recruit is very solid and there is not any give up in any of the players. We will rise up and win, mark my words.

Excellent splenetic arm-waving. The grand distallation is that ND should never lose to Mormon BYU.

BYU is not Ohio State and it is not Georgia. ND has superior leverage over BYU in every dimension in fielding a football team.

That BYU was ranked, does not take away from the fact that BYU is a Big12 pretender Power program. That game should have been an interesting warm-up for the real big boys faced in the CFP. But it wasn't.

But that was then, this is now. Freeman has to assert leadership in regrouping and repairing what is not working.
