Thank God we dont play UCF. Can't imagine what kind of genius our coordinators would scheme up.

UCF is having a lot of success on the ground...imagine that!

Zorich had an interesting take on that
Lots of guys throwing “scheme” around.
He said missed tackles, blocks and
blown assignments are not a result of bad schemes. It’s poor execution.-
-
Level 3
It was. You know that. Execution is on the players
It wasn’t terrible. But is was not up to standard.
Blaming the coaches is excusing the players.
That is lame.-
Level 4
I'd say it was a complete failure. They looked bad calling plays, scheme, blocking, tackling.
Just sucked all the way around. And that ultimately falls on coaches.

Re: I'd say it was a complete failure. They looked bad calling plays, scheme, blocking, tackling.
Exactly. It was a total shit show made worse by a shit UCF team playing them even right now.

Level 6
And beating them, a team with 3 losses. I wonder if was basd coaching or scheme or
execution that cost them 3 games. Oh wait I guess it can happen to anybody for at least one game.

U do know kicking 3 FGs and not scoring inside the 10 twice makes
All of the stats meaningless, right?
-
Level 7
ND was illegally denied a chance to win the game.
And the 1st half fumble call was inept officiating.
All of you “scheme” guys don’t
acknowledge that.Your bizarre hatred of ND coaches
suggests a sinister motive.-
Level 8
Carr fumbled. Period. I will give u the last play with 1 second
But pointing out not good enough is not hatred
-
Level 9
Period? Not so fast my friend.
The DL from BYU admitted he yelled “hut”
Causing the ball to be snapped before Carr
was ready. That is a penalty.

Level 8
So just run the same play over and over perfectly and you win. Wonder why they have more than 1?

I would suggest simply doing/scheming what you do well. Would have won the game.
Play man, send extra pressure. Dont let the QB get comfortable. As opposed to a passive bend dont break, for a half, wins that game. And playing your talented freshman. And not sitting on the ball after turnovers.

Level 4
Yes, when players are confused and not playing freely, on the coaches. Yes. Yes.
Not ridiculous, even though I perhaps should defer to your expertise on ridiculousness.
-
Level 5
“Confused and not playing freely”?
The players are victims, eh?
Missed tackles and blocks and blown assignments are not facts?
Do your job lads. Works better that way.
-
Level 6
Keeping it simple, they suck at zone. They played zone nearly exclusively for a half.

Once Traore checked out things changed.
You really want ND turning their backs on BYU’s QB? RU crazy?

Level 9
They were definitely affected by the Boubacor loss early. It reminded me of Tuitt being
thrown out of a game one year. The team completely had their heads down for the half.

Speaking of confused.
Missed tackles and blocks and blown assignments are facts, it's accounting for them. When the players are seeing things they weren't prepared to see, when they're confused, it's on the coaches.
-
Level 7
Nah. Block. Tackle. Don’t blow your assignment. Execute.
They are who we thought they were.
You PLAY to WIN the game.-
Level 8
I dunno, when other teams know your plays its an advantage. We've seen that result. That translates
to scheme as well.

They don't matter.
If ND beats Miami, they're in; if they lose, they're out.
SOS doesn't mean a thing.
Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
Invincibility with no vulnerability
