Not really it is a game to game thing. Texas lost twice but I don't think they're #19.
There are dangerous games for everyone. This could be another year where somebody gets screwed. I truly think we are maybe one of three teams that dould win the whole thing. We just have to take care of business. Upsets and letdowns are a common occurrence now as the college game becomes more pro like. It does still sting but only because ND is better but played badly and got all the bad breaks that should not have made a difference.

I disagree on that. Lots of people in the College Football world believe in the "hangover" from an exhausting, emotional game. I think this could be argued for BYU losing to UCF coming off an emotional, mentally, and physically demanding game from Notre Dame. Still sucks for Irish fans. It feels like ND lost twice! Context is key though, with a little glass half full.

Losing to Northern Illinois made ND look like shit.
The season is all about Miami.
Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
