Replacing Purdue game.
Likely Shamrock.
SoFi payed a lot of money to sponsor ND football, they want them playing in their stadium asap.
Oregon just fell to 4-3 with a loss at Illinois. Ouch.
the same mistakes, then maybe. But they do. And that's hard to put on every set of new players. Eventually you have to look at what's constant.
And less god given talent taking over.
We seem to play slow across the board against better teams
I don't care what anyone says. If you execute perfectly every time with no deception, no strategic scheme, you'll lose. How the game is played exemplifies that. They have different plays. If deception and scheme were not huge parts of the game, you'd run the same play perfectly executed over and over. ND's coaches rely on experience and talent. They bring very little to the table from a scheme and strategy stand point. At least, very little effective succesful strategy. I'd say their lack of aggression hinders the talent.
on that subject. I do think q QBs legs can make a big difference but over the long season I feel we are better with a QB like Carr rather than Minchey.
agree in long run Carr is what you want. Just dont turtle up, let him be aggressive with the ball. And play your flippin freshman.
But I dont think its complicated schemes, I think they play scared and passive. Not to lose. Lets play loose passive zone so the QB doesnt run. And then let him pass the crap out of us . Then fail to adjust when it doesnt work until too late. They dont let the talent play or make plays because theyre scared to give up a big one, not because its complicated but due to playing scared. Same on offense. Dont try to get a first down, just burn clock euth a lead and lets hope to get out with a win. They dont play to their strengths they dont attack. They bend over and take it and try to steal wins at the end. Tressel Kelly ball. The opposite of Sean McVay or a Jimmy Johnson.
