When is the last time ND looked as expected in a big game and didn't turtle up? Both sides against

BYU turtled.

Sure ND has looked dominant against mediocre teams. But when is the last time they played a highly ranked OSU, Georgia, Bama, or Miami and didnt completely shit the bed and looked frazzled and unprepared like the BYU game? I'd say Georgia in the playoffs but their QB was out. The Penn. St. game before that they almost blew.

Just when was the last time we thought they'd be good and they actually showed up looking ready? Maybe the 2022 Clemson game?
