Does anyone still have an emotional hangover from losing to BYU and find it hard to get
excited for the Navy game? Being a noon time game doesn't help. I hope the players are more ready than I am.

However, the BYU game has changed my outlook drastically. Before the game, I thought ND would beat Miami. Now, I expect Notre Dame to lose and possibly not make the playoffs. What a difference a game makes.
Sadly it exposed what a weak schedule does to false confidence. We finally got to see who we are/were.
It's a short, finite season.
ND didn't play from Thanksgiving 2025 until Labor Day 2026.
If they lose to Miami next week, it will be another long walk in the desert.
Enjoy every game.
out all fired up...Coaches don't want to show much...players want to be sure they're good to go on the 7th, etc.
That being said, Navy was shutdown from the 2nd Qtr...the offense delivered...and the team will be ready for Miami...
In order to be accepted as #1...you have to beat #1...GO IRISH!
My contempt for dancing-on-his-knees Anthony Davis was visceral.
Every gut-punch loss since then is rueful but attenuated down from that.
Same here. I was amazed we won that Cotton Bowl vs A&M because it was obvious we'd get screwed by the voters for the NC no matter what we did and that's exactly what happened.
Been attending and following the Irish for over 65 years. Been to more Spring games than I can even remember , going back to when it was called The Old Timers Game. Probably been to around 250 games. Spent more money at the bookstore than this country spends on the military over the years. I'm invested in this program. I know, not as invested as a grad. That point was made already. So, I'm damn upset about this loss. Same as '64 loss to USC. 2005 loss to USC. 1993 loss to BC. NIU etc etc etc. but I will be front and center at 11AM Central watching the Navy game while I'm streaming my grandson's D3 game.
bounce back after disappointing losses. That is a great reflection on the head coach and personal drive of the players. When you suffer a bad loss too many fans desert you but the team staying resilitent is a great character trait.
How do you know they are resilitent? Last year they lost to Miami and Texas A&M back to back. Were they resilitent then two?
The only aspect of this game that has my attention is avoiding injuries.
Just to prove that they can still do it?
Enough to trust them
And I bet it will be back to 3 vs. Miami.
I think the issue is Mike Brown, not the players.
And yes we will have a tight rotation against Miami and tire our own guys out.
I will be pleasantly surprised if they do anything different but don’t expect it
Sounds like you need BlueChew Gold!
The official ED chewable of the Fighting Irish.

The thin waist coupled with birthing hips...presents quite a compelling visual.
As, former board member TNIrish remarked: "Do I need to get tested for an STD after watching that?"
My eyes nearly fell out of my head the first time...
I didn't realize it was her at the time.
