Thoughts from Today’s Game vs. Navy 🏈

1. Navy’s first drive was torture. I hate playing these guys!
2. We sometimes struggle with good old-fashioned “meat and potatoes” football on the D-line. I think we’re better against the run with #59 clogging up the middle.
3. Holy Sh*t, the commercials! TV execs know Navy games have very little dead-ball time. That clock is always moving!
4. Nolan James was running well up the gut… WHAT DO YOU KNOW?! Play action works off that! Thank you, God!
5. Love kicking the ball out of the end zone. No returns, no kickoffs out of bounds. Simple!
6. At halftime, SJB 🐻 said she wished Minchey were still here. She’d also like to see Carr hit a TE (#7 or #24) on third down to move the chains.
7. Tougher teams win games like this.
8. Loved the way the team came out of the locker room!
9. Jerome Bettis Jr. needs the nickname “Mini-Bus.” That kid looks good!
10. IMO, Carr is better with #20 on the field. The defense has to respect the run more, and that opens things up.
11. I think we beat Miami, time for some magic a Notre Dane moment
