Miami got very lucky tonight.
And it wasn't their first close call this season. They are beatable.

It would not surprise me if we won or lost a close game next week.
However, a blowout loss would be completely unacceptable and, in my view, would justify a full top-to-bottom evaluation of the program and its long-term direction.

It all depends on if they let the players play or not. I think we could win by 2 TDs
Or lose by as many depending on if Ash is given free reign or not.

ND has a Chris Ash problem. An Irish 2nd half win over Navy has zero to do w/ play vs Miami.
The 2nd half win over Navy just masks issues that someone Miami (and BYU) will identify and expose. MF is signing off with whatever Ash game plans and he should know better. The defense looked lost and confused. No reaction but out of position and catching. That's on Ash. MF knew the defensive scheme and he signed off on it. Right now, this team and staff is not performing like a championship team. Sorry, but that's the truth of the matter. At least we won only hides underlying issues that will be taken advantage of by the Canes. Two weeks to prep and they didn't cover against a not so good team.

Nothing about the Navy games makes me feel good about the Miami game. We will have a very difficult time against them.
