The old Miami would not have struggled to close out North Carolina in the 4th quarter
This is a good Hurricane team with a couple outstanding offensive players... but they are a terrifying threat. Nobody is in the NIL/Portal era.

Miami close loss is meaningless. They have talent, so do we. Who plays closest to their potential is
who will win the game. I am absolutely sick about Bowen and Brewu. They are the perfect players to compete physically against Miami. I hope we get really up on our home field against them and yes I want us to be up two touchdowns early. I am going and will be yelling my head off and unlike many I don't believe foul weather would help us because I think we can win on a good weather day if we perform to our ability. Carr will be ready.

Don't underestimate the value of a struggle win vs a walkover in the week prior to a big game.
BYU struggled at home to Iowa State while ND blew out Stanford the week before ND lost at BYU.
