This ^^^^^ How can the FBS rankings be so dramatically different than all of the others?
There are several other rankings, namely the AP and coaches poll. In addition, you have the ESPN power index, Sagarin and the former BCS.
It is clear by now that there is something rotten in Denmark.

I'd think the networks ultimately would want the best teams in the playoffs. And yes..
Legislation seems needed if the NCAA is simply a wet paper towel overseeing the industry. I can't imagine the people who make money off of eyeballs on the screen want the Utahs of the World in over ND. And our AD seems uniquely positioned to address the issue with those people who have that legislative influence.
