If you’re playing DB, and get beat on anything over 10 yards, why not tackle the WR?

The change is to offensive pass interference. Defensive pass interence will still be 15yds

The change with offensive interference was needed. That penalty was too harsh. One can argue about whether Defensive PI should be 15 or a spot foul.

Pass interference is now only 10 yards? Ridiculous

It should be a spot foul like in the NFL. Defensive backs who get beat should now just tackle the receiver every time.

The article specifically says they changed it to 10 yards for offensive pass interference, not defensive.

Awesome.

I stand corrected...but I still think DPI should be a spot foul

This still doesn't get to the core of the penalty. We've seen non calls on obvious targeting.

We've seen calls on what should of been good hits. And we have all wondered at times if the booth is watching the same game the rest of us are watching. I would like a breakdown of all games, D3 to D1 on how many missed calls were made in 2025. This at times seems to be arbitrary. The hit on Fernando in the title game was a glaring missed call.

Stanford LB Wilfredo Aybar put a Knee in Love's rib cage. Could have broken several ribs. No call!

I also think something needs to be done about these Richard Simmons cut offs.

It looks ridiculous plus these hanging mouthpieces. The adults need to take back control of the game.
