if you're a football or basketball player. Not to say that there aren't really smart athletes that have gone to those schools, Pavia just isn't one of them.

That is provably false. Vandy has rigorous admissions, no athlete majors, and high GSR (ND #1 now)

that struggle to put together a coherent sentence. Most recently Pavia and Tyler Nickel from the basketball team. Not very bright dudes, yet both have degrees from Vandy.

Vandy can say anything they want (just like Michigan and UNC) but they are getting athletes who are substandard students, by their claimed standards, thru.
