Leave no doubt rule didn't apply to Tide, Canes, Okie. I would have supported Duke in the CFP.
Conference champs and apparently losses only have meaning sometime. When Duke won the ACC, ND's fate was sealed IMHO.

No disagreement here. The screw job was orchestrated to keep ND out and get Tide in. It was BS...

I have no doubts he orchestrated a lot of strongarming to get more SEC teams, especially the Crimson Tide, in the playoffs.
That, plus he was probably still smarting over the beatdown we handed the Razorbacks early in the year when we were just starting to solidify.
