Also heard on a podcast that Landau has a proprietary measure of explosiveness and Walton has the highest number he's ever seen (or something to this affect, not a direct quote).
So how do the snaps get split between Williams, James, Young and Walton?
Do you think we may do some 2 back sets? Williams and James are particularly good pass catchers, I could see some creative plays utilizing the running backs with no real proven pass catching TE.
Thoughts?
Nolan James seems to be the favorite to spell Williams. Kedren Young is listed at 234lbs! He is coming back from an ACL. Walton is already turning heads. Osborne is described as 'explosive'.
Call me crazy but I don't see a meaningful drop in RB production this year, especially behind that O-line.
No returning/new RB can hold a candle to them.
Someday, maybe.
Agree the room has lots of talent, but it's largely unproven potential only at this point.

As for carries, those that produce will earn them.
Williams and James will get the first crack at those carries.

Return game, few 3-7 carries a game.
And no, I don't recall Denbrock playing 2 backs.
Don’t remember it much after that game
Those sets were gimmicky crap that Miami stuffed at will.
