Night Game on Campus

I hate the night games. Useed to love them, but as I've gotten older, I do not like getting out of parking lot at midnight, having trouble sleeping, and having an early am departure on Sunday.

BUT: we are going to the Michigan State game on 9/19. We have a parking pass for the Joyce lot (excellent!!). So, I have a few questions.

1. What is a realistic good time to get to campus? For day games, I like 8-9 am, but I feel that just adding 4 hours to that won't be ideal. Also shouldn't spend 6 hours at the 'Backer any longer.
2. Is there Mass on campus before the game. I've been to plenty of 30 mins after the end of game masses - but have never gone after (or before) night games. "Bless me father..."
3. We generally do not tailgate beyond beer and pretzels, as we have 5-6 guys, luggage, cooler, etc in car - and really no room for table, grill, etc. Any places on campus worth the wait to eat? Or is it pretzels for lunch and dinner?

Thanks guys!

I do not attend night games anymore. It's a long day and long night.

Morris Inn has a place to eat that's pricey but not bad. Stadium food is expensive and not great. North dining hall has a buffet of food at all you can eat prices. I used to meet my pals in the White lot around 9AM for a flipping night game. It was all good back then. Beat the incoming traffic and spend the day hanging out, eating, and hanging with other tailgaters. I had a 25 year streak going of attending all home games, night or day, rain, snow, sun. Those days are over. I've been to a couple of home games over the last two years. Night games are for the younger crowd. I've attached Mass info for you.
