The Irish were coming off a 2-7 season (the Iowa game was canceled because of the JFK assassination) in 1963.
Huarte to Snow was an unstoppable passing combination.
Huarte was a nobody who went on to win the Heisman.
ND was cheated out of a 10-0 season and a NC by the So. Cal friendly refs in the last game at the Coliseum.
This year, Wisconsin will once again be our first step, CJ will win the Heisman, and no homer refs will stop us on our run to the natty.
