Didn't know that Chris Salerno had been put in a medically induced coma
Chris Salerno had suffered a massive seizure, and had to be put in a medical coma, due to a lot of fluid building up in his brain.
Thankfully, the surgery was successful.
While he was in that coma, Coach Freeman (and other staff members) visited him and offered support to Salerno's family.
To me, this is the very embodiment of what a Notre Dame man should be, and it goes to show that not only did we get the right guy at the helm, but that he goes above and beyond the call of duty.
