What is Kiffin and LSU's end game with all of this?

I get they are pushing the boundaries and desperate to add talent, but who there really thinks taking on the SEC is the way to go? And for Kiffin, is he basically putting a stake in the ground and saying he's cool with LSU potentially being his last head coaching gig? Because who is going to touch him after he and LSU are taking on the SEC and NCAA when for one of the few times ever there is almost unanimous agreement?

NFL will "touch" him in a NY minute. The end game is win at all cost.

And Kiff feels emboldened knowing he has the approval of everybody at LSU, From the top boosters to the stadium ushers. I'm not sure he cared about any coaching gig he's ever had. It's him, winning, the next job, in that order. Media is feigning outrage but they love the storyline and the ratings bonanza LSU will provide.
