Exactly the same.
We are ND no matter the time or place. Storming the field after beating a "ranked" three loss Utah team was embarrassing. Thats how desperate the student body was to celebrate during that era.-

Only a snob would ridicule fans for storming the field after the 3 previous years and results so far that year. ND was a home dog in that game against a ranked team and won convincingly. Reason to celebrate.
Michigan was a 27+ pt favorite, coming off a 9 win season and a year removed from a natty. Reason to go home and go wtf.

That negates the true importance of storming after Michigan and USC and even UCLA on the court. That's the low expectations of fans like you. I was there. I "stormed" the field, not because I wanted to. It was either jump the wall down to the field or get crushed by 50 rows of students crashing down. At the time, there was ridicule of that post game display from both Irish fans and non Irish fans. Low expectations brought us here.-
