Injuries to their legs. We'll be fine without them against Rice, but we're going to need them soon.

That 1st half had A LOT to do with ND having no clue who Wiscy was going to be.
They brought in a ton of transfers on both sides of the ball and aren't the same team they were last year. Not even close talent wise.
ND adjusted to what they saw in the 1st half (scheme and talent) and won comfortably. Really good job by the Irish across the board.

Notre Dame was fortunate the kickoff recovery was not overturned.
Losing the line of scrimmage does not comport with the National Championship hype.

One year ago tonight I was in that shit hole, watching a flawed game plan cause an unnecessary loss.
If I'm ND, I see Miami every time I take the field this year.
