Notre Dame beat Wisconsin worse last night than Indiana beat them last year

Indiana, last year's national champion, led Wisconsin 10-7 at half time and then won by 24.

Notre Dame led Wisconsin 13-10 at half time and then won by 28.

Some of y'all need to relax a little on the doom and gloom following a 28 point win over a Wisconsin team that is supposed to be a lot better than last year's team.

I don’t understand the dumb and gloom at all. First half of football in a season full of high

Expectations followed by a second half of domination.
Indiana is a physical, well coached team.
Look at the box score. Wisconsin rushed for 2.2 yards per carry. Threw for less than 220. Whoa Nelly!
That wasn’t Prairie View ND was playing.
    Sheeeesh!

IMHO, the doom and gloom is aimed directly at our OC.

Why in the Sam Hill is he tying the hands of our Heisman candidate QB and by extension our offense in the first half? It did get better in the 2nd half but what did it take in that halftime locker room to open up the offense in the 2nd half? Other than that, Irish fans witnessed first hand what a Top 5 team looks like. I do ask our staff and players not to Northern Illinois our game this saturday. We fans plan on having a nice relaxing watch party and don't need the stress.

My guess is he wasn't confident in the OL yet

We saw the same last year on the road at Miami but at least then it made sense since it was Carr's first career start.

I think he saw the OL getting worked in the first half and then once it finally stabilized in the second half, he decided to just lean on the run and short passing game before going back to work this week.

If we see the same against Rice, I will be more concerned.
