Sorry but Williams is not the guy. James, Faison, Greathouse or Cam Williams would be a better choice, unless of course Freeman doesnʼt trust their decision making and catching ability? We need explosive players and Williams doesnʼt come to mind for Kick-off returner. It’s like when we had the other kid fair catching everything a couple of years ago.
The young RBs would be good choices as well with their speed and Osborne's cutting ability.
Neither are even on the four deep right now, though. I wonder if the staff went with Williams in week one just to have an experienced player there week 1, essentially on the road. Look at what happened with Wisconsin's muffed kick and how that turned things.
you'd think those coaches would get the benefit of the doubt on who should get what job. Guess not.
If one of the faster, more explosive players had the trust of the coaches to not make a bad decision or put the ball on the ground, they'd be back there already.
Give Biagi and Freeman a little credit instead of thinking you know best from your keyboard in your mom's basement.
