My guess is that this week's game will be one of the least watched ND games.
Just the name "Rice" is weak. I mean it's a flavorless side dish used simple to fill out the meal. Nobody says "Hold the meat and veggies... I just want rice."

There have been some pretty interesting ones in recent years so might not be that low
Especially since Notre Dame is considered a title contender.

There's also lite competition in that time slot: Alabama (12) @ Kentucky and Arizona @ BYU (15)
(no message)-
Level 4
Those are both sort of interesting games
How will Minchey do against the Tide? How good is BYU vs an actual football team, as opposed to the boys’ school intramural club they played last week? I will probably check in bc on both during commercial break

In fairness, NBC changed how it measures its' ratings to more fairly compare w others
It is going with "Total Audience Delivery" which counts Nielsen + Peacock which had previously been siphoning off numbers from its' Nielsen ratings even though Peacock is using their same broadcast.
The reason that I mention this is because I believe that past ND Football ratings have been better than what the previous NBC Nielsen ratings showed because they did not include Peacock viewership.
No other Network games with other teams has a streaming deal like Peacock happening to siphon off viewers on same game being broadcast on Fox, ABC, CBS, nor ESPN.
This is a truer measurement.-

Irish fans may tune in just to see if ND can one up Miami.
This is how it will be for the duration.
