the o-line isn't there yet.
And they're playing the wrong rb's for a not yet ready line.
They need to play creators.

It's fair to be worried about the run game
Aneyas Williams didn't get much of anything going early and Rice's is a small, bad defense. Notre Dame SHOULD have been able to run the ball right down Rice's throats. Notre Dame's offensive lines tend to struggle at the start of seasons - especially when there is a lot of moving parts.
Agree they need to figure it out soon though.
I think part of the solution is more Jonaz Walton too.

The offensive line is not yet run blocking that well. Offensive lines take a while to gel generally.

The running game, as it sits now, will not get it done .
It will prevent the offense from maximizing its potential, especially against the big boys. IMHO, Aneyas ran tired today.

The story on him is he had 20 carries last Sunday.
It was obvious from the lump he had no juice, and yet Denbrock gave him the most carries.
If he's doing dirty week we generally don't notice, great. But others need more carries starting against MSU.
