Solid coach, Over the years has had to do more with less,
When u play his teams things probably gonna look a little ugly,
Hes not gonna lose a game 50-0
But won’t win one 50-0 either
This was a solid win,

Fundamentally sound. He does more with less. He is tough. Class act IMO. Quality Irish Win. MSU will pull off a couple surprise Big X wins IMO. Great day for the Irish. Overcoming adversity. LFG. Didn’t we start a drive on our own 7 in the 4th and Go 93 yards to put points on the board?-

I'll actually agree with you
For all of our differences, I do firmly agree with you here.
Pat Fitzgerald is many things, including a terrible human being, but he isn't a bad coach.
The fact that he managed to take Northwestern to 10 bowl games in a 17 year tenure there is very respectable.
His downfall (aside from the sexual assault / hazing incidents) came after the transfer portal rules loosened up a lot starting in 2021 (the "one time transfer" rule got enacted), a lot of his better players got poached pretty quickly.

I like Fitz but the game was never in doubt & wasn't as close as it seemed.
He will build MSU into a nice program that will play in bowls and perhaps pull off that major upset once in a while.
