Happened just before kick off. Officer grazed, woman shot. Tailgate drunks and guns. Good times.

It was one guy, and I doubt he was tailgating
I'm guessing that the tailgaters didn't have anything to do with this. This looks like one of the locals causing trouble, and that area has its own share of trouble.
The honest folks there have been demanding more of a police presence for quite a while, but the current mayor and former mayor gave them the middle finger.

"Police are actively searching for the suspect.
The suspect is a black male, heavy-set, with blue shorts, a black shirt, and one white shoe, according to the alert.
A Notre Dame emergency alert states the suspect was last seen on the south edge of campus."
From the Observer:
"The suspect is a heavyset Black male with dreadlocks, wearing blue shorts, a black shirt with a red and blue design on the front and one white shoe,” Barlow stated."

Couple of locals got into a fight, one started shooting
Preliminary reports say that the police found the guy. He had ditched the gun earlier.

Tailgaters not going to the game left en masse headed to the Eddy bars.
From there, a fight ensued at Eddy and Angela Blvd. Two people shot. Officer and a woman. Suspect is still out there. All this according to the SB Police Chief. Tailgaters, bars, guns, drinking, fight. This was no Shriners convention.
