Porter out for the season

Hardly a surprise to me, but was hoping, like us all, that he would return prior to BYU.

I had an employee once who suffered a patella tear. Of course, every one is different and the technology has advanced, but it was a hindrance to him for many years. He was not a football player, but he was a pretty good athlete. That injury is somewhat of a crapshoot in my mind. Would like to hear some input from an ortho.

Best for him to get his surgery done, and come back fully healed later, instead of trying to make it through a season with quick fixes.

He'll be in good hands with Dr. Brian "Rat" Ratigan.
